Vacation Bible School 2011 - We are Truth Seekers!

Come on down to the Chapel for Vacation Bible School!!!  Our theme is "The Great Kingdom Caper -Cracking the Character Code".  We will be searching for clues to the truth as we investigate amazing Bible stories, play action-packed games, create fun crafts, learn great songs, enjoy jolly-good snacks and much more!!

The Locale

VBS 2003 promoWe will travel the vibrant streets of London on an intriguing mission to crack the elusive Character Code as inspectors (AKA the children) and detectives (AKA the adult leaders) solve the Great Kingdom Caper. We will have exciting and engaging escapades filled with twists, turns, and surprises!

VBS 2003 magnifierOur trained group of excellent investigators will lead detectives on an investigation that the children will not want to miss!  The detectives are on a mission to seek the truth and to uncover clues to the Character Code and ultimately discovered how to live with Christian character.

The Case Load

Here are the cases that we will investigate during the week along with clues that will help us out!

  • Day 1 - File 001: The Case of the Unwavering Widow.
    Clues: Ruth 1-2
  • Day 2 - File 002: The Case of the Crucial Choice.
    Clues: Genesis 13
  • Day 3 - File 003: The Case of the Stolen Wells.
    Clues: Genesis 26:12-33
  • Day 4 - File 004: The Case of the Missing Body.
    Clues: John 19:17-20:18
  • Day 5 - File 005: The Case of the Runaway Servant.
    Clues: Philemon

AGES: 3 - 13

DATES: July 25-29 9am-Noon

IN ADDITION: Your family is invited to church at 11am for VBS Sunday and a BBQ potluck following the service on Sunday, July 31. The Comptche Fire Truck will also be coming for a "spray down" - bring towels and a change of clothes!!
